I started my day today with a Green Light Of Death.

..and was able to recover in under 5 minutes.

Well not started, but here's the story:
Sent a couple of emails from home, put the 2400 to sleep and threw it
in my bag. When I got to the office the battery had fallen out of
it's bay. I had just slid out on it's own (probably due to my paint
job... I have noticed the batts don't stay latched as well anymore...
)

Anyway, like an Idiot, I threw the battery back in and presto the
pale green light appears like a death knell atop the screen.

I have noted that the few times I have seen the GLOD is when my
sleeping 2400 either runs it's battery dry, or I remove the battery
for too long while it is asleep.

I walk out of my office to pace around a bit... I hate living too
long without my Comet.

After a few minutes I figure I'll try a different method.

I hold the RESET button down for about 15 seconds, and while still
holding it in I plug the AC cord into the back.

Presto! It boots on it's own volition!

After the screen lights up I slide my battery back in and I'm on my way.

Thought I'd share that experience with the group.
