Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings. When I called yesterday to
get one, they said my order was the last one in stock, and they
couldn't even guarantee me that that one existed until they went down
to the warehouse to check. I read somewhere, however, about a guy
who cut up a 7.2v battery from another powerbook, and made the 3.6v
necessary for his 2400.
You know you are on the trailing edge of technology when you have to
make your own replacement parts! Not worth spending $2600 for a new
PB, yet, though. There's still life in this little Comet yet!
