From what I have been able to find out, WriteNow is officially
abandonware, but the last license holder (The Learning Company) will
not allow any new distribution.
Every once in a while, you see a copy on eBay, and some of the
used/discontinued companies have a copy or two to sell from time to
time. It also might be worth checking with some of the MUGs or Mac
stores that have been around for awhile (like Micro Center in
Marietta, GA), to see if any of them have a copy stuck back
somewhere. If you find one, grab it right away! This is really a
great little wp for the Duos, probably the best overall for the
limited processor and memory available.
By the way, the latest version is 4.0.2, and the only way you can get
the latest is by finding a copy of 4.0, then upgrading through this
link:

'enhancer' for the program.
