hey all
i am new to this list. By way of introduction, i've got a Duo 2300, which is
actually an upgraded duo 280. (one day i'd like to get a color screen!)
here's my problem:
i've got a 2 gig scsi drive in the duo (yes it is a scsi drive; it could be a modifid
ide; but it is at present time a scsi interface -- it's a "roadrunner" drive by i dont
know who)
it will not spin down. When i got it (used), it didnt spin down either.
Could this be bc of a jumper not being set correctly? Can anyone think of what might
be the problem? I dont have any other trouble with it, and have used it for months
now, so i dont think the drive is bad... it is silent and ok except it wont spin down.
any help appreciated.
Also--- if anyone has a copy of speed doubler 8 pls contact me-- i desperately need
it!
