Just got a battery from Battery Zone for 67.62 for my 2300C and it worked fine.....when it made contact with the metal contacts in the computer. I found it was easy to make it lose contact while typing so I sent it back but before doing so made some comparisons between the new battery and my dead original. The new one has a clip that makes it difficult to lock and certainly remove the battery. The slide doesn't want to unlock because of this extra clip which is not on my original (dead) battery. The new battery doesn't seat as neatly as the original and isn't flush with the computer. So I sent the new battery back to Battery Zone, and they were very easy to deal with for the return, and the new replacement battery arrived today and it has the same issues of not fitting properly as did the first one they sent me. Has anyone had this problem, found a workaround, replaced the sliding lock from the OEM battery onto the new, removing this clip that isn't on the OEM battery, or have any other answers? I have detailed digital images of the 2 batteries for anyone willing to take a look as well. This battery is supposed to fit the 210, 230, 250, 270C, 280C, & 2300. Thanks!
