Hi, I�m new to the list. I just got a 2400 off of eBay and am wondering about G3
upgrades. I have a couple of questions:
Is there any place where the Vimage or Newer upgrades are still available and if so,
how
much are they?
Is there any way other than the aforementioned upgrades to put a G3 chip onto an
existing
2400 CPU card? If I find a seriously talented solderer can it be done or is this a
very
na�ve question?
Thanks in advance! I�m looking forward to learning from the list and hopefully
contributing something. My first project is going to be installing a larger hard
drive.
I�ve looked over the diagrams on the web and read recommendations about disassembly.
I�m
confident I can do it if I take my time.
