Others on the list have indicated that they have used a Duo2300c AC adapter
(24v, 1.5a, 37w) with their PB2400. This would certainly be more cost
effective than buying a new or used AC adapter specifically for your 2400.

As a matter of fact, I use one here at work for my PB1400 without any
problems at all. The battery charges just fine although I haven't noticed if
it charges any slower.

You could probably pick one up on eBay or a list member for around $20.
