I suspect others may also have latent (undiscovered) problems in HD to
PCMCIA copies. To elaborate more upon this, concerning HD drivers, I use and
recommend only Apple Drivers (I'm not alone on this as that would be MCE's
recommendation too). At various times I've used practically everything out
there. It's also important that the drivers (as much as possible) are the
same for all of your drives. This will eliminate driver incompatibilities
which lead to faults/errors of various types.

To focus more precisely on extension conflicts, I discovered that the
Connectix utilities Speed Doubler 8.x and Ram Doubler 8.x curiously have a
conflict in swallowing large volumes of HD (internal) copies to the HD
across the PCMCIA bus. ou can use SD w/o RD during these copies. I'd like to
know of any other suspects.
Tom and Larry, are either of you using SD/RD? Y

Uprated cache speeds 3:2 on the G3-240 will induce errors, freezes, quits
and bombs. DON'T do it! The speed gain is under 3%. The G3-320 mHz and 400
mHz will not even boot at 3:2.
