SCSI Disk Mode is lost with HD over 4GB due to inherent problems in Apple's ROMs. I've heard of folks limited a hard partition to 4GB or less and using Disk Mode, but have never heard a definitive answer on whether that really bypasses the problem. >3. The 9.5mm drives work, but there has been some expressed that they don't make sufficient contact for heat reduction, i.e., some shimming may be appropriate.
