They definitely do charge. When I got my Duo 230, both main and PRAM were
DOA. The main had to be replaced, but after a week or so of being plugged in
fairly consistently the PRAM stopped resetting every time it was unplugged,
and started to hold settings reliably. It's been good ever since, so yes, I
would have to say it's rechargable.
