Hello folks, I would be very grateful for advice (system configuration, software, hardware accessories, etc.) on getting an old duo 230 that I've inherited internet & e-mail ready. It's got 24MB RAM, system 7.5 installed, and an Apple express internal modem. Regarding browsers, is iCab a good option (albeit still time-limited)? As for e-mail clients, what's lightest yet efficient? eudora light (which version)? claris e-mailer? green? I'll need to run filemaker pro and word 5, so hopefully there are apps that don't gobble all the RAM; i'd be prepared to use an earlier system, if that's possible (strangely enough, it looks like the previous owner was happy dedicating 23MB to the system alone...) Thanks in advance for your wisdoms. Philip Rogosky. ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
