Hi, Everyone- I have a Duo 2300 which has a problem knowing how much battery life it has. When I take it out of its dock and the battery is fully charged, both the menu bar icon and the Control Strip module show a FULL charge. However, when I use it for about ten minutes, the screen dims and it tells me that the battery is low. After a few more minutes, another dialog box tells me that it will shut down soon... and it does so after a couple more minutes. If the answer is to reset the Power Manager, I must not be doing it right. As far as I know, you just shut down, then hold in the power switch on the BACK of the laptop for about 45 seconds or so, right? I've tried that, all to no avail.
