> 12.1" TFT at 3.75 lbs. is near the perfect form factor, but then there's its > miserable display, battery, and keyboard plus Windoze. > My wife has a Vaio--an older one with the 10.4" display. With her extra life battery (doubles as a lift to put the keyboard at an angle), she gets 4 hours of play time. The keyboard is an excellent size--more like 90-95% of a real keyboard (vs. 80% with our 2400's). I think the display is ok. Windows--well, unfortunately, it isn't as great as the Mac, but you know what--the more I use it, the more used to it I get. Unfortunately, more and more of the stuff I want to run is Windows-only. I just put Virtual PC on my desktop, and I've been using that more than the MacOS. I'll always have an Apple--I always thought it would be a Mac, but it will probably be my Apple IIGS, more likely. Too bad they never had a portable IIGS--oh, that would be my 2400 with Bernie to the Rescue on it! --Charles ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
