A duolister brought me a 2400 for some work that has a problem that has me perplexed. He complains of frequent GLODs and an inability to run from battery. He also had three screws rattling around in his case, but that was the easy fix. =) I've reset his power manager, and was able to clear the GLOD. But now I may have uncovered his root problem: The book will boot while on AC, but the battery will not charge. (Red X in batt icon) I have swapped his battery into my 2400, and it will not charge in mine either (Red X in batt icon.) My known good battery will not charge in his 2400 (you guessed it: Red X in batt icon.) It looks to me like *both* his battery and his 2400 are 'broken'.
