Since installing a new drive (IBM 8GB DYLA-2800) in a Powerbook Duo
2300c, I only get about 15 minutes on a battery instead of an hour. This
applies to both of my batteries, so I don't think it is the battery.
This drive's specs for power consumption are approx 2.5w, the same as the
old 750MB drive.

Does anyone have any comments as to whether there might be a problem with
the drive, or did I mess up some wiring during the installation. I
haven't opened the duo up again to double check the connections, yet.

- Charlie

PS. someone else mentioned about these drives being noisy - mine is
definitely noisier than the original drive.
