Hello,
I am new to the list and hope that I am posting this correctly.
And now my question.
I have been looking into purchasing a Powerbook and can't decide between a
wallstreet or a 2400c. It might be obvious to some to go with the
wallstreet (duh?), but I like the size and weight of the 2400c, and it is g3
upgradable. The problem lies in the fact that I would like to run virtual
pc and it has some steep requirements( like a g3 processor, and more ram
than you can shake a stick at on 4.0 and I think 3.0). I really just need
it to read pc formatted cds, and to run powerpoint and access for the
contents of the cd-rom. I checked the prices and the 2400c runs $200 - $400
behind the wallstreet, depending on thier individual configurations. I
don't need to be restricted to virtual pc, but, reading pc formatted cd-roms
is an absolute must.
Help!
Eric.
