Hi, everyone;

My name is Shiva Mayer, and I'm new to this list. I currently have a PB
1400c/133 (which I am typing this on). I've been looking for a new PB in
the past few months. The 1400 is okay, but seems slow (feels slower than my
25 MHz LC 475!!!) and has the industrial design of a brick.

I have been thinking about upgrading to a 2400. I've never seen a 2400 but
I like the concept -- 4.4 lbs, small and stylish form factor. I don't need
expansion bays, because I have a desktop system to back the PB up. I don't
think the small keyboard would be a problem. (If I were to get a 2400, I'd
get one with a G3 upgrade.)

I use my PB for typing, web browsing, games, and the odd presentation. I
might get into Digital Video one day, but none of that yet.

So, being the experts on the subject that you are, what do you think? Should
I look at the 2400? Keep my 1400 and upgrade to a G3? Save my pennies for a
G3 Pismo?

What would you do?

Thanks,

Shiva Mayer
