Find out what software is protecting the access, e.g. FoolProof, At Ease,
etc. Try booting with an external hard drive, and/or with extensions off,
and maybe you can trash the software and format the internal hard drive to
eliminate the problem. With FoolProof on an SE/30 hard drive, I had to
find someone who was using the software to help me get around it.
