Good morning, in addition to losing my mind over this I have lost the ability to chose the port for my modem to use on my 2300c. I am using OS 8.1, and have the internal modem. I "used to" be able, in the Modem Control Panel, to chose between the Internal Port(modem) and the Modem/Printer Port. I no longer have that choice ! I have just re-installed the Apple Telecom v3.1.3 software, which I used before. Using this software, I can send a fax from the internal modem, so I know it works. Just this week I was using an external modem connected to the Modem/Printer Port.....which still functions, I can send and receive eMail, etc. So what happened to the choice in the Modem Control Panel ? I have check all of my PPP configurations, and checked in the Extensions. I have rebuilt the desktop and zapped the PRAM. Help.....any thoughts, solutions, etc. ? Thanks......JWS.
