Okay guys. I need your guys expertise on this.
I recently sold my 2400c/240Mhz G3 to buy a
Sony Vaio SR17K laptop. I was just sick of the
mac having no support with the plug-ins I need
to use online. And the fact that I can use AT&T's
internet i495 plan for $4.95 a month.

I already miss my 2400c, as Windows ME is nowhere
close to the Mac OS, but you guys already knew that.
So I've decided that I will need to get another Mac
just to use it for Quicken, Turbotax Mac, and the
occasional freehand and photoshop (just to update my
daughter's website) via pagemill 3.0. I'm trying to
keep it on the cheap, so knowing that I had a 2400c,
do you think I will be happy with a 270c, 280c or
2300c. What is the maximum specs that I could upgrade
these machine to and about how much? Keep in mind
that it doesn't have to be fast or anything. I know
the ram on these are lacking, so I will probably be
using Ram Doubler or Tripler to bring up my RAM. Your
input and expertise would be appreciated.

Also, once I find out more about the above mentioned
systems, if any of you guys have an extra you want to
sell, let me know. I will see what my budget will
allow. Thanks.

Lam
