This advice can be followed in a quick and dirty way (similar to my reply
elsewhere to Tom K) or via new CLEAN installs. The more your system or
application crashes the more it will crash. This is a clear case of
System/Finder and/or iCab corruption. Remove the complete iCab install (and
any of its extensions that might be installed), along with Finder and System
preferences and System, Finder themselves. Copy a virgin backup or do a
clean install. If you do not have another partition, do this with your Duo
in SCSI mode or via another drive. Even better, clean reinstall your
complete system. BE SURE all these crashes have already damaged your system.
