That will not be enough. Apple used the same trick on the 1.4.1 installer that they use on the downloadable USB DevKit. Yes, you must do what Tom said and extract using Tome Viewer, but then you must add a resource to the USB Support extension. 1. Make a duplicate of the file and open it in ResEdit 2. Create a New Resource (Command-K) 3. Type in the following type "usbx" (Case-Sensitive!!!!) 4. A new resource is created and a window name "usbx ID 128 from USB Support" should open. Close this window. 5. You should now be in a window named "usbxs from USB Support" which has a list of resources, only containing one: ID 128 6. Select the line with ID 128 7. Get Resource Info (Command-I) 8. Change the ID from "128" to "1984" 9. Save your changes. Put the newly changed file in the Extensions folder 10. Restart! There is a simpler (less-detailed) description of how to do this included with every download of Apple's USB DDK.
