Yes, ebay is a great source for many things. But not surprisingly, most of
the stuff on ebay works, and/or has value. I bought my Duo(s) from ebay, and
a few other things as well. The marketplace, while fair, can be harsh. A
buyer might not get what he expects. The same can be said of the seller's
expectations.
But the Mac community itself can be kinder. And where better to look for
dead, odd, or rare parts than with Mac users? Lord knows I have a few bits
and pieces hiding in the basement that are not worth listing on ebay. And
who knows what sort of weekend project you might dream up? A RAID based MP3
jukebox that needs a Mac II case? I have a spare if anyone is interested...
