I recently purchased a used 280c. It seemed to work fine and all,
especially once I gave the battery a good charging. Now I can't get the
thing to power on at all.

I accidentally took the battery out when it was on, but not plugged in. It
hasn't started up since. I let it sit plugged in with a battery, and after
a few minutes the green LED came on. I opened it up, tried to start....
chimes of death, screen stays dark. I tried resetting the power manager and
that didn't appear to help. I've also tried 2 different AC adapters, with
no luck.

Anybody have any ideas? I have also owned a 250 for 7 years, so I know
these are quirky machines... Thanks.
