Well, this is truly a nice hack to attempt, I myself have given it some
thought, but since I had an older apple external cd-rom I use with the dock,
I have been postponing it time and time again.

However, regarding your question, I have an Apple Service Source pdf file
with complete schematics and disassembly instructions for the duo dock.
Problem is the file is 828 k. How can we arrange the transfer? Do you have
iTools access?
