The longer story is that I am using OS 8.6 with OT 2.5 on my Powerbook 2400,
but having trouble. It seems that if I ever fail to perfectly connect to a
server, or a web site, the application (mail, Internet Explorer, etc.)
and/or the Finder will hang up and ultimately require a restart. I have OT
1.3 but I would like to try OT 2.0 since this is, I believe, the preferred
OT for OS 8.6 on a Powerbook 2400. (I understand that OT 2.5 is preferred
on later machines.)
I looked at the PREVIOUS OS version (8.1) on Version Tracker and they have
the OT 1.3 "updater".
So I still need the OT 2.0 (2.0.3?) Extensions if anyone could be kind
enough to stuff them to me.
Jerry
P.S. What I need are the System Extension files which are Open Transport
2.0 (2.0.3?). This probably means any file in your Extensions folder which
has a name beginning with "Open Transport" or "Open Tpt", if these are
version 2.0, 2.0.3, etc. I'm not sure how many there are.
For example, Open Transport 1.3 consists of five files:
Open Tpt AppleRalkLibrary
Open Tpt Internet Library
Open Transport Library
OpenTptAppleTalkLib
OpenTptInternetLib
OpenTransportLib
Open Transport 2.5 consists of only two files:
Open Transport
Open Transport ASLM Modules
