Remember now, the G4 processor in the "book" is not the same as the 6xx and
7xx G4 in the towers.  They run much hotter and use alot more power than the
first generation G4 processor.  The two lower end towers are still running
the "old" G4 processor and those might well find their way into the
powerbooks at slightly greater speeds but I wouldn't bet on quick jumps to
700 plus mhz.
Right after the new towers were introduced I read a really great article on
the differences between the first and second generation G4 chips that was
writting by a PC industry journalist, which was nice because it was a very
impartial and basically positive analysis.
