This sounds very cool. I just got a Nokia 7160 yesterday because it has IrDA
to communicate via infrared. I hope to use it with my PowerBook G3. The G3
will utilize the phone as a modem. There's even a modem script for Nokia
infrared already installed with OS9.0.4
The connector you are looking for is the same one used for hooking a Palm
Cradle to a Mac. It comes with the Palm MacPac Connection Kit. My Nokia came
with a cable to connect to a PC. I already have Palm adapter so I can't
wait to try it out. I love techno-gadgets!
The PC connectivity guide that came with the phone describes connecting it
to a Macintosh and recommends using FreePPP to make the connection.
