PlusMaker is only needed to CONVERT Standard to Extended without removing
all the data, reformating, and replacing all the data.

I bought it after I replaced my first iMac's drive with a 17 GB. I had 5GB
free. After running PlusMaker and converting to Mac OS Extended, I had 12MB
free!!!!! Granted, I had a LOT of website, which are all made up of tiny <4k
files, but if you are loaded with bigger files, you will not notice as
dramatic an improvement.

PlusOptimizer is for optimizing.
