Aw shucks, jus' a recalcitrant, reclusive, reactionary troglodyte (evolving
into a Luddite), ensconced on a Swiss mountainside (* panoramic Alpine lake
view, clean water, clean air, no commute (except when I grow horns secretly
going 300kph in the rain in the middle of the night), 5 min to the ski
slopes and 5 min to the boat, 90 min to Germany, France, Austria and
Italy--except when I'm in LA), trying to resist progress (and deriving
perverse pleasure) by prolonging the service life of antiques (aging with
them, hopefully like a good wine).
Seriously, I really am amazed (and pleased) that a G3 accelerated 2400
bridges Legacy and the latest so well after 5 years. So much so, it has to
be truthfully said that if Apple ever built another 2400 (interpreted and
optimized for function, versatility and upgradability to today's standards
and tomorrow's possibilities) they would put themselves, paradoxically, out
of business.
