It was me and yeah, I finally saw the Apple branded connector ($19) on a web site somewhere. This is one of the few disappointments I have about the iBook in that it didn't offer S-VHS which would connect to my S-VHS VCR.
My guess is that Apple is leapfrogging the S-VHS level of resolution in favor of digital video. . .
