Don't bother with the USB video capture options, the quality sucks 
and still requieres a audio in port.

Take a Look at the Sony DVMC-DA2. It is a analog to DV to analog 
conversion box that give you great video capture quality and stero 
48kHz sound in and out. It works great with iMovie, and it works ok 
with Final Cut Pro and Premeire.

I use this Sony box, along with a NewerTech FireWire card, on my 2400 
to do rought video editing when I'm nowhere near my G4.
