Quite right on this, your quote was appropriate and I'm too lazy (impatient)
to chase links.

No one should take themselves too seriously, least of all (Gawd forbid!)
Apple Mac users. The idea of a genuine SUBnotebook and a PC slot to make the
quickest possible, least hassle handoff to the dark side is exactly to "Get
(more) life". If we are all (over)awed by the slightest Apple offering,
we're worse than the 1984 PC drones Apple railed against. Think different
means just that--no satisfaction for everyone (makes for more individual
lives)--and squeaky wheels seem to be getting more grease lately...so
"whining" does beget progress.
If Sony VAIOs were Macs (in breadth and range of scope and selection), we'd
all be raving and all have "lives"--much better ones at that. Lucky we don't
because Apple users would REALLY be more insufferable than they already are
;-). And...if Apple were (had been able to be) Microsoft...arrogance would
have had an exponentially amplified meaning...

Don't worry, Rev.1 iB2 will have its own problems--they all do but the
problems will be more numerous and mainstream in the much larger production
run of iB2s. The misbegotten 2400 never even made it past two countries in
Rev.1 form so we have to "rage, rage, against the light" or it's lights out!
Good luck and a better life in your digital odyssey.
