I'm new to using laptops, but do you recommend a portable power strip to be
used or is it built into the 2400? Any recommendations on a particular
brand? I've just noticed also that every once in awhile (even when the
laptop is turned off/asleep) when I plug the laptop into an outlet, I see a
spark when inserting the plug.

When plugging in or pulling out the outlet plug/AC adapter, should the
laptop be put to sleep? Is there an order in which I have to follow i.e.
unplug the outlet plug first, or never unplug from the laptop first? Does
this include PC cards and the dongle that comes with my modem card?

Is it okay to plug the mouse when the laptop is asleep?

Sorry, I'm really new to laptops. By the way, I love my 2400c. I just want
to make sure I take care of it right. Thanks.

Mike
