Your phone & modem script will be crucial to determining your success. Some
cell phones will require a PC card cable attachment. Others go purely
wireless. These are two posts I've previously made on the subject (I assume
Nokia is OK for USA standards too (check w/manufacturers directly):

8000 series Nokias w/built in modems should be exactly the same. I have not
made a study of other phones. Experimenting with modem scripts may make a
difference with the Motorola. Try to survey the 2400 list.
