Hi everyone:
 I have assembled a 2300c board/frame into a 280c lower case/2300c upper
case with a 280c screen. The computer has two issues, otherwise it works
perfectly.

Problem 1: if the computer is started or restarted while an ac adapter is
plugged in the screen will not light up. If the adapter is unplugged the
screen will immediately light up, the adapter can then be plugged back in
and the screen works normally. Even though the screen does not light up
until the adapter is momentarily removed the computer starts up normally and
the lcd is displaying the process without backlight.

Problem 2: the screen will not adjust it's brightness level, it is always
on at full brightness. This screen did work perfectly in a 280c. When the
light level adjustment buttons are pushed the brightness scale pops on the
screen and goes up or down, but the lcd remains fully bright at all times.

I'd appreciate your ideas/feedback on these issues.

Pat L
