I'm catching up on my DuoList digests and saw this message. Sorry if someone else has already replied and I missed it. But if not, I thought I'd try to help. Are you using the PC card cable or the Firewire version of the DataShuttle with a FireWire PC card? If the latter, then you need to use DataShuttle's power adapter and install the drivers on the Hard Disk Toolkit software disk that came with the DataShuttle in order to get the drive to mount. If you're using the PC card cable, however, it should mount without any additional software or power adapter. If it's not, you might try opening it up again and checking the cable connections.
