SO-o-o, the truth comes out--you stepped (sideways) to an iBook AND are
missing that darn PC card slot I complained so vociferously about ;-) on
iB2's release. And now that 2400 still serves as the best data intersection
for bridging old and new, PC and Mac.

There are 2 solutions, apart from returning the drive. Find another PC card
slot PB to do the job, maybe even at a dealer (if you're still baking in the
desert), or, if you have a way to get iB2 into Firewire target disk mode,
pull the other drive and install the Toshiba and then perform the format.
