I guess I shouldn't expect anything less from this list, but jeez, the 2400
is really nice, but...
a) a zillion things that are useful now are missing, like ethernet and
firewire and usb built in (I had a "fast" ethernet PC card in my 2400, and
it was dog, dog slow)
b) the screen is that horrible 800x600 res, which I have sworn against
using ever again
c) Airport is cool (yes, I know you can add a bunch of stuff with PC cards)
d) I crossed the Pacific, 9 hours, with two G4PB batteries and had time to
spare. How many 2400 batteries would you need for that?
If we were talking about the Duo, which can be had for under $100, we'd
have something to discuss, but the 2400s were rare and, I assume, are still
holding their price fairyly well.
