Guys, I've noted several folks mentioning this problem.  First, ascertain 
that you actually have a problem...you'll need to disassemble the display.  
If the two bolsters for the two screws (below the display, under the little 
stickypads) are damaged, you can try epoxy or "Goop" type urathane cement to 
effect a repair.  If it won't hold, you need a new frame.  I've rebuilt a 
few....learned to keep the hinges lubed (I use just a touch of silicone lube 
on them) to keep friction at a reasonable level.  Duos are not too bad in 
this regard....esp. to anyone who owned a Compaq product during the 486/P1 
series!!  (we had a bunch at work....they failed quickly!)

I do have two good 2300 uppers, plastic/latch/hinges only (i.e., no display) 
if anyone needs them.  Contact me off list w/a reasonable offer.
