Like many folks out there, the CD-ROM for my 2400c isn't exactly portable. As a
result, I'm looking for software, preferably freeware, that enables one to mount
images CD-ROM images on my HD from the CD Player -- this is both to use some of
my software, as well as to listen to my CDs on the road.

The Mac2400 page made mention of a freeware program, image master (IIRC), but
that program doesn't seem to be available anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions?

And while we're on the subject of CD-ROM drives, does anyone have any experience
using Addonics CD ROMs with the 2400? Is it possible to boot from them? Is
there a noticeable loss of speed when using a PC card versus SCSI?

THanks all for your time.

Cheers,

-nicolas
