I have one of those gv pcmcia cards in my 5300 all gv cards work with
version 3.02 as a base driver and then 3.5 or 3.6 as aupdate i have all of
the updates on cd i can coppy for you if you like or you can down load all
of the software from gv.com (wish you could do this with the 540 modem
files) the card i have is a gv powerport platinum 10base100 ether and a 33.6
modem/fax that is v90 compat i picked it up at a computerfare for �15 thats
about $22. it works fine with the downloaded drivers and for some reason
connects at 57600.
