Oh, man, thought I was the only one who fried my 2400 that way. It's a pity you didn't speak up sooner as a fellow duolista diagnosed the problem as a blown fuse he was able to replace. There's always the possibility I guess of a second blown fuse, but then you said you replaced the logic and I/O boards.
Can't help with the PC card, I'm betting you think you pushed the connector down, but possibly not all the way. You might be able to check on it by just removing the keyboard instead of dismantling the whole thing. . .
