My 7 year old 14" Apple Color Display expired. Fortunately the Duo 2300c works well out of the dock, but I no longer have access to my SCSI chain (for backing up, access to data on CDs and external drives, using the scanner). Before I get a cheap used 14" or 15" monitor, or splurge on a new monitor, how can I determine what monitors the dock will support. I think I have a Duo Dock I, however it does have 1MB VRAM. I don't want to get a monitor that needs a Nubus card - I've already got an ethernet card and a ATTO SiliconExpress SCSI card in the two nubus slots. (I also use this monitor occasionally with two older Quadras.) (I am overdue for a computer upgrade, but keep procrastinating because of the LaserJet printer, on AppleTalk, and 8 SCSI devices. The conversion to USB/Firewire gets rather expensive with this legacy.) Any thoughts as to what I should consider would be greatly appreciated.
