It will not >recognize concurrently added interfaces. Not at all - Open Transport can deal with multiple interfaces, and has been able to for some time. The only issue is that Apple provides no user interface to do that with the classic Mac OS (chiefly, you need a way to add routes and assign IPs to multiple active interfaces). One third-party piece of software that fills that gap is IPNetrouter. You can use it to simultaneously talk to two or more different IP networks on different NICs (or one local network and a default route), and you can also use it to make a router or NAT gateway on your 2400 between any network interfaces you choose (the software will have to remain running to provide NAT). Making a bridge would require different software, but I'm not sure whether the Airport software base station does that either. You can also use LinuxPPC for all sorts of arbitrary networking weirdness, though I haven't tested it for Orinoco support yet. -- Marc Sira | [EMAIL PROTECTED] "If you can't play with words, what good are they?" ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
