It works very well on the faster '030s (say, 25mhz and higher) and more than
20 megs RAM. I think my 230 running 8.1 is snappier than my 2300c running
it. Probably the fact that the 230 is 16 grays and the 2300 is 256 colors,
but its still amusing. For basic word processing I often use my 230 instead
of the 2300c, which is funny since my 230 is my "beater" laptop. Some people
have beater cars, I have a beater laptop :) I love the thing though, even
though it's missing most/all of its screws (got it that way) and the screen
doesn't stay together :) Wouldn't get rid of it for a TiBook.... wait, I
probably would for a TiBook, but you get the point :)
Anyway, I'd recommend Born Again for anyone who has a 230 or other '030
25/33 Mac and at least, say, 24 megs of RAM. It's pretty spiffy.
