IIRC, this is b/c the Computer is looking for a DHCP server. This is a 
TCP/IP issue. If you have TCP/IP configured to use a DHCP server, then 
it will attempt to find one and keep trying every so often until it 
does. You should verify that under TCP/IP options "Load only when 
needed" is checked.  (You may have to change 'user mode' under the 
'edit' menu to advanced) This makes sure that the Mac doesn't enable 
TCP/IP except when it is being accessed by an application. Therefore, 
even though you need DHCP in the office, you can go on the road and not 
have to worry about these 25 second freezes.
