Everything is interchangable. You can even just take the 2300c 
motherboard and replace your 280c logic board with it.

Just make sure that you are Running Mac OS 7.5 or higher on you hard 
drive before you make the swap. You may also have to re-install your 
OS so that it has PPC code install as well. A 2300c running in full 
time 68kEmu mode is sloooooow.
