I have a PowerBook 2400 that I'm planning to sell. I'm trying to
decide whether I should pull out the G3 upgrade card and sell it
separately, or just sell the whole thing as a package. I still have
the original CPU daughtercard that works fine. I could also
downgrade the hard drive, sell the translucent keyboard separately,
etc.
Anyone have any advice about the best strategy?
PowerBook 2400c, excellent condition, original box/manuals/external
floppy/AC adapter
No dead pixels (tested with LCD Screen Tester)
Extra battery (both batteries have ~90 minutes charge with heavy use,
over 3 hours very light use)
80 MB of RAM
10 GB hard drive (also have older 3 GB drive I could swap in instead)
Cardbus upgraded
Translucent blue YuPlan keyboard (original keyboard still available)
Interware 320mhz G3 CPU upgrade
It seems like a pity to disassemble the 2400 and sell the upgraded
parts separately, but after watching previous sales I wonder if I
might get more money out of it by breaking it up.
Whaddya think?
