is it just me or has this person asked this same question abt 3 times now, and asaik, 
ppl have responded with help EACH time, repetitively....

it is wearing rather thin.

YOU CAN USE A CABLE FROM ANOTHER MAC (which? lc's? maybe the compact macs?)
OR
YOU CAN MAKE ONE THAT IS LONG ENOUGH

or, ppl can respond once again to this thread with other ideas
LOL
i hear the power cable is harder to find... but with those you can make one long 
enough with extensions...
